“It’s about rewarding Independence Party people, and it’s rewarding the good ol’ boy setup.”Absolutely!
And it's high time to call it like it is. Ulster County, with a legislature that couldn't be more equally divided, has fallen under one-party rule -- and that party managed to drum up less than eight percent of the legislative vote county wide!
Does this look like democracy to you? How long are Ulster County residents going to allow unelected party bosses like Chapman call the shots?
Yet another good article by Doxsey.
How can Albany not investigate Chapman and all his positions? How is this all legal? He can't possibly perform all the jobs he is getting paid for. This is just outright stealing from the taxpayers.
ReplyDeleteWhat makes you think that the guys in Albany are different from Chapman, Bernardo, O'Halloran, Turco?
ReplyDeleteBonacic is in Albany, isn't he? All cut from the same cloth, they watch each other's back. On the other hand, they would drop each other as hot potatoes if the association is bad for the bottom line.
Don't expect decency from those bastards. Look for the weak links, boycott their businesses. Call the Health Department on O'Halloran's Pinegrove! Occupy Skate Time 209! Camp outside Langdon Chapman's house! Spread the word. Just do it!
Only 5 legislators voted against the contract with Bonacic's law firm for Chapman's fine counsel.
ReplyDeleteTracey Bartels even said the way the contract is written, Bernardo could increase Chapman's fees and allows him to subcontract his job to some lackey from the Bonacic firm. Unless Chapman has clones (Lord help us then), he can't possibly do all the work he gets paid for by himself.
Yet, only Bartels, Provenzano, Donaldson, Rodriguez and Rob Parete voted against the sweet deal.
Score one more for Team Bernardo and another loss for county taxpayers.
How about the fact that Legislature's personnel budget has increased by $90,000 after losing ten legislators at $10,000 each? When I read that, I couldn't believe it. Who is it that's watching out for the taxpayer? I guess it's none of the Legislators if they approved that!
ReplyDeleteit was just 2 now its 5 I hope this is a positive that the tide is changing and maybe soon their will be 12 that sober up or come to their senses. Looking at the players(not real smart) that is wishful thinking
ReplyDelete@2:12 Wishnick thinking is more like it. Ken Wishnick is the only Dem who refused to applaud Donaldson's speech (watch him sit with his arms crossed in the county webcast of the session).
ReplyDeleteThe Dems in this county are pitiful. The Republicans are puppets. The Indy's are simply corrupt.
David A. Lowrie, 48, of Accord, was charged with felony drunken driving and felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle by state police in Catskill at 10:44 p.m. on Friday on Main St. in the village of Tannersville. Lowrie also was charged with the violation of unlawful possession of marijuana and several traffic infractions. He was sent to the Greene County Jail. Further details were not available.
ReplyDeleteBernardo's boy.
It's that Bernardo boy toy. Chapman to the rescue pay off a judge Come on Langdon you can do it we are watching
ReplyDelete7:02 am - WIshnick's Independence endorsement is only a small part of Susan Zimet & Len Bernardo's evil cabal.
ReplyDeleteWith Pete Savago they conspired to abandon Zimet's Legislative run cause she had a worth opponent & she was scared to lose, so she screwed her own constituents & fixed the GOP Caucus with Pete Savago, & ran against an emasculated incumbent.
WIshnick is totally Terry Bernardo's puppet !!!
What do these people have in common? They are narcissists one and all.
ReplyDeleteLen Bernardo called Democratic committeemen urging them to vote for Nick Woerner. It's bad enough he hijacked the Republican party; now he's trying to gain control of the Democrats. Fortunately, the Democrats are smart enough to realize who Bernardo and Woerner are. It's too bad the Republicans are so slow to catch on. Who were Len's and Woerner's allies in their scheme? Sue Zimet and Ken Wishnick.
ReplyDelete4:54. Birds of a feather..... Anyone who thinks Woerner is worthy of anything that includes responsibility is an imbecile.
ReplyDeleteI've heard Zimet say several times that she cares more about the Bernardo's than the Denocratic Party...why then don't we just cut her loose? Too many Bernardo moles burroughing in the ULster Democratic Party...Dumb & Dumber (Blaber & Woerner), Sarah Heartburn (Susan "Gargon-breath" Zimet), Wishnick, etc. We definitely need some rat traps.
