Paging Mocking Robin

The great thing about the blogger platform is that any idiot (yours truly included) can start publishing stupid political commentary. All you need is an internet connection, a computer, and a strong sense of your own personal victimhood:
Push poll disgust

Now Robin is going too far. She has put up a ridiculous poll asking how you would classify someone who take benefits away from someone who has stage 4 cancer. The possible answers were Malicious, Evil, Heartless and All of the Above.

We at Mocking Robin are not sure who the cancer patient is but we can be sure of three things. One, since no one has the opportunity to choose anything but a bad vote, the results will be 100% what she wants. Hardly a poll anybody can trust. Two, Robin is going to twist whatever circumstance she is going to reveal into something it really isn't. It won't be the first time. Three, dragging a cancer patient into her political sickness is All of the Above. That's our vote at Mocking Robin.
The above is in response to this post at the Liberty Coalition (be sure to read the comments).

Uh, to call this a push poll is pretty damned idiotic, even coming from Terry Bernardo. Robin's intention was obviously to lampoon Bernardo's callousness. The fact that all of this is lost on Bernardo doesn't come as a surprise.

UPDATE: Notice, too, that Bernardo doesn't bother to refute the charge, and instead feigns ignorance. For shame.

  1. Now I hear the last working person in the legislature has resigned. Wants out of the craziness. So Terry has ran all the workers off and replaced them with useless politcal hacks. KLook at all the late resolutions last month alone shows you either they are not working or don't know what they are doing. Killed another one Queen on a roll

  2. Terry keeps busy these days. She writes Mocking Robin, and writes the comments too. I cringe at her atrocious vocabulary, grammar and spelling. How on earth did we let her climb to her position?
Wake up Ulster County before it's too late. What she destroys in one year would take ten ti rebuild.

  3. Cloakroom, although I am a fan of your blog, on this matter, I am afraid you are wrong, wrong, wrong. Discussing someones health on a blog, for the purpose of political "lampooning" is in extremely poor taste. I am sure the person who is the alleged victim would prefer that her condition remain private, and not made political fodder for Robin's game. Shame on Robin (if thats possible) and shame on you.

  4. 1:49pm - call your Legislator and ask them about the employee and her treatment by Bernardo. Or watch the webcast of Tuesday's session and see the compassion Terry has for the employee. And btw, Robin didn't identify the employee - the commenters did. Identified or not, shameful behavior by Bernardo is still shameful behavior.

  5. Jon Dogar is some piece of work. He does not believe in being faithful to his wife, which is weird because I don't know anyone that would sleep with that guy, he is creepy and looks gross. Maybe the lack of sex explains the porn scandal he got himself caught up in a few years back that rocked our town for months. Also on one of his blogs he is taking pictures of Blaber outside walking, isnt Blaber like 22?? What the heck is wring with this guy, a 60 year old man taking pictures of a young guy without his knowledge. The guy is a pervert if you ask me. JON DOGARDUSKY?!

  6. say what you want about Dogar, I am sure he can take it However, you can't deny he writes the truth. He always has proof / facts to back up his posts. You have accuations and inunedos with no proof. Dogar is not a politician and he does not have to answer to the taxpayers or voters and it does not excuse the incompetant, irresponsible, ignorant, selfish, greedy, behavior of Terry Bernardo and her friends. You can try to turn attention to other people and topics but it won't work.

  7. 1:49pm - I said nothing about any employee or any boss for that matter. When it comes to things like this, I don't have to say anything. People KNOW. Believe me as time passes they will know more and I assure you it won't be pretty and it won't require me to say it. Others will. The truth does hurt. Bad behavior is bad behavior.

    1. Robin,
I think it is commendable that you brought this to light. It has been whispered about for months and it is about time the voters know about the antics of the Chairwoman. Sad to say, though, I doubt the members of the Legislature will muster the courage to actually buck Terry and Bully Boy Len. Spines are few and far between in the Legislature.
