Karl Rove Targets Schreibman

Well, Julian is certainly doing something right if he has the attention of Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS:
Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies (GPS) today announced a new TV ad in New York’s Nineteenth Congressional District supported by a $461,000 total buy. The spot targets Julian Schreibman’s support for ObamaCare, which cuts more than $700 billion in Medicare spending and imposes a new tax on middle class families.

The new ad starts September 29 and will air on local cable and broadcast networks. The spot, titled “Focus,” can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1YhLLqDfE0
The ad is very tame, and it has more distortions in 30 seconds than a performance of Mummenschanz, but it also shows that the GOP is hitting the panic button when it comes to retaining control of the House. The Senate is already lost to them. In fact, the Democrats might actually pick up a seat or two in the upper chamber. Now, it comes down to holding what should have been safe GOP seats in the lower chamber. For Karl Rove to be spending money on Gibson means they think he could be in trouble.
